One desk runs the whole day.
Asia Pickleball puts entries, the draw, referees, the live board and the venue screen on one host desk. Set it up on Friday night; run it from your phone on Saturday.
Everything the desk does.
Each feature below is a screen in the host desk today, not a roadmap.
Before the day
Friday night, on a laptop
List it, take entries, build the draw.
List the event
Host deskName, date, venue, format, level and fee. Listed events show up under Tournaments, where players find them and apply.
Applicants to roster
Host desk · ApplicantsSee who applied, mark who has paid, and add them to the roster in one tap.
Groups and knockouts
Host desk · StagesBuild the draw as stages. Generate a round robin for each group, then a knockout fed by the round before.
Import a spreadsheet
Host desk · ImportAlready have the draw in Excel? Upload the .xlsx or CSV — the name list and the match list can be separate files. You correct the draft before it's saved.
On the day
Saturday, on your phone
Check people in, score the courts, keep the screen current.
Check-in and walkovers
Host desk · PlayersMark each player checked in, no-show or withdrawn. Forfeit a no-show's remaining matches and the draw moves on.
Referees on their own phones
Referee phoneShare the event code. A referee enters it with the name players will hear on court — no account, nothing to install. Sign them out when they're done.
iPad score desk
iPad score deskProp a tablet at the net: big targets and the call in large type, for courts that keep one device all day.
Venue screen control
Host desk · Live screenFollow play, pin one match, run a break countdown, push an announcement or show the schedule — from your phone.
After
After the last match
Results are final before you leave.
Final on the board
Public boardCompleted matches stay on the public board, and each player finds them in their match history.
Correct a score
Host desk · MatchesFind the match by names, court or status on the desk and fix it there. Nobody retypes the day into a spreadsheet.
Run it alone.
Your host account can score any court itself — on your phone or an iPad at the net. Hand out the event code only when you want help.

Groups, knockouts, or both.
Build the draw in stages: round-robin groups first, then a knockout fed by the round before. The standings keep themselves.
Round-robin groups
Every pair plays every pair in its group. Generate the fixtures in one step; win–loss and point difference update as each call is saved.
Knockout bracket
Each round is fed by the one before it — groups into semi-finals, semi-finals into the final — with an optional match for third place.
Import the draw you already have
Upload the organiser's Excel or CSV. It's read into a draft you check and correct before anything is saved.
Check-in, no-shows and walkovers
Mark who has arrived. When a pair doesn't show, every match they haven't played becomes a walkover and the draw moves on.
Match day, before and after.
Nothing about the game changes. What changes is who has to remember the score.
Match day now: The score lives on a whiteboard and in three people's memory.
Match day with Asia Pickleball: One official call per match.
The referee's tap is the record. Nobody retypes it later.
Match day now: Someone asks which court Chloe is on, every ten minutes.
Match day with Asia Pickleball: One link answers it.
Search a name, filter to a court, read the live call.
Match day now: The volunteer holding the clipboard is the whole system.
Match day with Asia Pickleball: Any phone can take a court.
Referees join with an event code and a name. No accounts to create.
Match day now: A mistap gets argued about, then guessed.
Match day with Asia Pickleball: Undo is one tap.
And a tap that breaks the rules never moves the call.
Match day now: Results get typed up again the night after.
Match day with Asia Pickleball: Completed matches are final before you leave.
The board keeps them, where players were already looking.
Host questions
What is Asia Pickleball?
Asia Pickleball is a pickleball tournament system for clubs in Hong Kong and across Asia. The host runs entries, the draw and the courts from one host desk; referees score on their own phones with an event code; players and spectators follow the official score on one public live board. Every screen is in English and Traditional Chinese.
How big a day does this handle?
It is built for a club day: several courts, dozens of matches, and whatever phones your volunteers already carry.
Which draw formats are supported?
Round-robin groups and knockout rounds, on their own or together: groups first, then a knockout fed by the round before, with an optional match for third place.
Can I import a draw I already have?
Yes. Upload the organiser's .xlsx or CSV — the name list and the match list can be separate files. It's read into a draft you correct before anything is saved. If you use CSV, save it as “CSV UTF-8” so rare characters such as 峯 or 啓 survive.
Do I need volunteers to referee?
No. Your host account can score any court itself. Share the event code only if you want referees to help.
Can I correct a score afterwards?
Yes. The referee can undo on the phone during the match. Afterwards, find the match on the host desk by names, court or status and correct it there.
What happens when a pair doesn't show?
Mark them as a no-show on the desk and choose to forfeit the matches they haven't played. Each becomes a walkover for the other side, and the draw moves on.
Your first draw takes one evening.
Create a host account, add the event on the desk — name, date and club — and share one link. Players install nothing.
